In a fast-paced world, it’s crucial to pause and reflect. Beneath the surface, the world transforms, revealing mesmerizing patterns that cultivate an appreciation for life’s inherent value. The unseen breath in the real world creates stunning underwater patterns. The body, free from gravity, surrenders to the flow of water. It’s a metaphor for letting go, appreciating the beauty of the world, and simply breathing.

About the artwork

This artwork is from my Water Reflection series in 2021. It explores the interaction between fashion and the natural element of water, highlighting the interplay between the man-made world and nature. I use orchids as a metaphor, balancing on the water’s surface and interacting with both the water and the dress. This piece marked the beginning of my water-themed exploration.
