Welcome to My Art

“Capturing the beauty and serenity of the ocean through contemporary, ocean-themed oil paintings.”

I’m Alexandra Telgmann, a German fine art painter specializing in contemporary figurative and marine wildlife painting. My work explores the beauty and fragility of the ocean, inviting viewers to connect deeply with nature.

I was recently shortlisted for the Ruth Borchard Collection Self-Portrait Prize at the Russell-Cotes Museum in Bournemouth, UK. I have received the Best Wildlife and Animal Award from the International Realism Guild and have been a finalist in several international competitions.

My paintings have been exhibited at leading venues including the Mall Galleries in London and the Salmagundi Art Club in New York, and have been featured in top publications such as American Art Collector and Fine Art Connoisseur.

I am currently developing my Ocean Reflection series, inspired by my lifelong love of the sea, where I work with oil and 24-carat gold leaf to capture shimmering water and light.
